Your first appointment may take a little longer as we will spend a little time assessing your oral health. We will also ask you to complete a medical questionnaire as your general well-being may affect the dental treatment you receive.
Your dentist may take x-rays to check for any hidden problems such as decay or bone loss. We then carry out a thorough examination, including oral cancer screening and checking your teeth, gums and surrounding tissues. We will also listen responsively to any of your dental concerns.
Following your consultation, we will discuss your treatment options so you can decide how to proceed. We will also let you know the cost of any proposed treatment, so you know what to expect and can plan accordingly.
